Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place. Something that would be very useful to me would be storing .mp3 or similar files in a trail...

You can store sound files in your trails just by dragging them in, they'll take the 'Document' type by default.



In future, it would certainly make sense for us to provide a 'Sound' type that could read the information embedded in the file (track name etc) and use that information in the item. We could then look at the file, and import it as a Sound / Music type automatically, in the same way that pictures are automatically detected as such.



We'll certainly add this to our list of features for future versions of Memex Trails!
