The Memex Trails timeline lets you organise all your stuff visually. It automatically adjusts in size as you add more information. Zoom in and out to see more or less off your data, or use the navigator panel to explore the whole thing.
Simply drop an old project folder into a new trail, and you’ve got a whole new perspective on what happened. Control the time scale of your trail to look at a short period, or pull back to see the big picture.
With Memex Trails’ extensive search capabilities, find just what you need has never been easier. Search by keyword or date range, and your Trail will visually highlight matching items as you type. For even more control, Memex Trails has it’s own query language to help you filter data based on its structure.
Memex Trails comes with lots of built-in data-types that allow you to store all kinds of information in your Trails - from Appointments to Documents, from Tasks to URLs.
But it doesn’t stop there. You can also create new types of data for use in your Trails. Store invoices, research references, recipies, contacts...the list is endless.
Memex Trails has built-in support for the Trails Network. Sync your trails (including any files used in them) with your Trails Network account, and you’ll be able to get access to your stuff wherever you are.
You can also share your trails with other users, and use Memex Trails as a collaboration tool.
If you’re anything like us, then you hate being told what to do.
Memex Trails isn’t a set of rules that tell you how to organise your stuff. We like to think of it as the working environment that you create. Use Memex Trails as a calendar, project planner, database, backup tool...or just a place to keep your stuff together.
